St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and today we wanted to share our little Irish party with you! It’s no secret that we love to throw a holiday party and it’s so much fun for the little peanuts to learn about each holiday and get excited with festive foods and activities! Decorating for a party can be a lot of work but it can also be easy + fun with a few simple details! To create a simple centerpiece that packs a lot of punch we made these darling yarn wrapped vases with little shamrock sticks poking out! For place mats we made a shamrock shape stencil and cut them out of green poster board… and a fun Irish saying with a white pen and you have a cute place setting!
For a simple St. Patrick’s Day lunch snack we cut green bell peppers into slices and made fun shamrocks to munch on! Dip them in green ranch and your peanuts will be sure to love them! Green milk + green striped straws always does a little body good! See more fun with bell pepper shamrocks here.
For a sweet and healthy treat we made these darling rainbow fruit kabobs and the party friends had so much fun naming the colors and fruits! Kabobs are perfect for any type of party and have fun with different fruit and sweets options! The sticks can be sharp on the end so you will want to be careful with smaller kids.
Of course we had to have a little fun in the shamrock streamers! We made these ombre garlands by using a shamrock die cut at our local craft store. Sew them together and hang them all over your house for added fun + a perfect photo opp!
To create a colorful party favor we made these simple skittle treats by using clear plastic candy tubs and fill them in rainbow order. Add a little shamrock tag with bakers twine and you have the perfect little treat for your party guests to take home!
A huge thank you to the amazing Jessica Peterson for joining us at our St. Patrick’s Day party and for taking all of the darling photos! We hope everyone enjoyed this feature and we hope it inspires you to have a little green themed party with your peanuts this weekend!
