Good morning and happy Monday! We are starting this week off with a darling and colorful Hello Kitty Birthday Party that is sure to be every little girls dream! The talented Tara Gray with the Modern Maven Blog sent us over these images of her daughter, Channing’s, second birthday celebration and we are smitten with this cute kitten! Channing requested a Hello Kitty party for her birthday and Tara was inspired by the Hello Kitty buckets and foam ice skating cut outs she found at Target in the dollar section. That’s all it takes to get started on a party theme is just a few elements that inspire your color palette and details for the party. Tara made many of the cute decor elements like the felt garland with hearts and Hello Kitty bows, popcorn bags with bows and our favorite, the Hello Kitty tissue paper hanging poufs! Seriously how cute are those?!
Every party needs some great treats and we love what Tara came up with! Peanut butter and jelly heart shaped sandwiches, coconut macaroons, salted popcorn, birthday cake: marbled vanilla and pink lemonade cakes with cream cheese frosting! Yum!
