Brunch, pajamas, and a party all wrapped into one, now I ask you what could be better? Well that is exactly what came together to form sweet little Harlow’s first birthday party and it couldn’t have turned out any cuter. We are so very excited to have Seri and Michelle with Little Miss Party Planner guest posting for us today.
Celebrating a first birthday should be sweet and fun! That’s exactly how Harlow’s Mom, Ilana of Mommy Shorts wanted it. She wanted a Sunday morning brunch where guests could come dressed comfortably and enjoy some delicious treats in honor of her little lady turning one. The guests were encouraged to come dressed in PJ’s to enjoy mini pancakes and other goodies such as Bantam Bagel bites, mini cupcakes from Butter Lane and cronuts from Chickalicious. We even set up a little cereal station… The bar was set like a bed on top of a fluffy pink blanket with mimosas for the parents, milk for the kids and of course the coffee was a flowing. We also served hot cocoa!We set up an activity table for the kids to keep busy with stickers to decorate party hats and cereal to make jewelry with. The cake was from Magnoila and covered in buttercream ruffles. Harlow got her hands all over a huge piece of it making for the prettiest “Smash” we’ve seen yet!
