When it comes to birthday party themes there are so many fun ideas that we’ve seen. Many moms tend to pick party themes based off what their kid loves or what they love to do as a family. We can’t get enough of this fun camping themed party for Avery. A camping style party is right up our alley and as you can tell this is perfect for boys or for girls! The food display has to be our favorite party of the party. Let’s be honest… the food is always the best part of any party! It can also sometimes be a little hard to come up with themed foods that are also yummy to eat. We love what Avery’s mom did from the s’more cupcakes to the slices of watermelon and ants on a stick (raisins + peanut butter on celery sticks) to the bags of chips and trail mix bags. And of course they had a darling station for making s’mores!
For an activity the kids went on a nature scavenger hunt and we love the idea of printing the things to find right on the paper bag! You could even have little pictures printed that they color or check off! A perfect activity for a camping party!
