Today we are featuring a sweet gender reveal shower that is full of fabulous details. We love the color palette and that they decided to make this a couples baby shower! Teresa Fernandez with Simply Couture Weddings and Events shares more about the details with us.
“When the mama-to-be, Lauren and I first chatted, she had visions of a ‘non-traditional’ pastel green and burlap inspired gender reveal couples baby shower. We wanted a rustic, more elevated spin on a rather ‘cutesy pink or blue’ event. To celebrate, we decided to bring in rustic elements to create a gorgeous theme. Simply Flowers got to work designing the most fabulous tall cylinders wrapped in thick burlap and exploding with large puffy clouds of white baby’s breath. All the petite hors d’oeuvres were provided by Cafe Chardonnay on mini spoons and forks for the guests to enjoy. We provided a candy buffet with a display of green and white candies for guests to fill and keep as favors. Our fave detail were the little pram carriage favor boxes with matching green ribbon. There was also a beverage display complete with the drinks of the afternoon, ‘the non-alcoholic Mama-rita’ along with Appletinis, Bellinis, and a White Sangria. The dessert table was rounded out by scrumptious macarons and a simply delicate cake placed on a rustic crate. The ‘gender reveal’ cake pops were served on mirrored platters handed to each guest for the ‘reveal’ to take place in unison. It’s a GIRL!”
