Every party requires some special party attire so we enlisted in the help from on of our very good friends and amazingly talented florists, Audrey O’Brien with Studio Stems to design mini floral crowns for the girls and mini boutonnieres for the boys. We must say this was the perfect addition to the party and the little peanuts looked adorable! I think it’s safe to say that the little girls were obsessed and felt like princesses! This could also be a fun project you do with your kids for your Easter celebrations. If you don’t have access to real flowers you could use fake flowers from your local craft store to make a crown and boutonniere. Thank you so much Audrey for sharing your talents with us and a huge thank you to the equally talented Kiera Eve for the gorgeous photos from our Easter party! Don’t miss the darling Easter craft below!
At the party we wanted the little party guests to be able to do a fun holiday craft and decided to have them decorate eggs in a little bit of a different way! We found big pastel eggs at Hobby Lobby and picked up some decorating supplies {felt, googly eyes, puff balls and pipe cleaner}. We help the kids cut out ears out of the felt for the bunnies and the wings, nose and hair for the little chicks. The little ones had a blast gluing on the animal faces and making their own little friends to take home! If you don’t have access to larger eggs you can also use the smaller plastic eggs that probably have tons of laying around the house right about now! What a fun activity + cute little decoration!
That’s it from our Easter party! We hope that it inspired you to do something festive with your little peanuts! Stay tuned the rest of the week as we share a few more fun Easter activities and treats! Enjoy!
